The Lisburn Road will be closed in both directions between Tate's Ave and Eglantine Ave on Sunday 11th May from 6.00 am due to road subsidence. It will remain closed for most of the day and possibly evening. Eglantine and Tate's Ave will remain open.
09/05/2008 11:24 Rock Blasting A1 Newry By-Pass (Information supplied by Roads Service)
Roadworks on the A1 Newry By-Pass between Cloghogue and Fiveways roundabouts will commence rock excavation between 11am and 3pm on Monday 12 May 2008. Click on header for more information.
The rock will be excavated using explosive detonations and this stretch of the A1 may have to be closed for periods of up to 20 mins while blasting and the subsequent clear-up operations take place.

The M2 motorway will be closed in both directions between Greencastle J2 and Sandyknowes J4 from 22:00 Saturday 10th to 11:00 Sunday 11th May. Diversions will be in operation.
Due to the roadworks on the M2, the country bound on-slip from Greencastle to the M2 is closed between 16:00 and 18:30 from Monday to Friday. This closure will continue until further notice. Click on header for Diversion route.
A diversion route is via Shore Rd, Station Rd, O'Neill Rd, Prince Charles Way, Ballyhenry Rd and Sandyknowes Roundabout.
Roadworks on the Saintfield Road at Primrose Hill (between Cairnshill and Purdysburn) will continue untill the middle of June. Lane closures will be enforced at various times and delays are expected. Click on header for more information:-
The work, which will continue until the middle of June, is in preparation for new traffic signals at the Primrose Hill housing development and proposed new Park & Ride Car Park.

Hightown Road is closed from the junction with Mallusk Road to the junction of the Derry Road including the Derry Road Junction. This is to allow demolition and reconstruction of the Hightown Road Bridge. The diversion route for this closure is via Mallusk Road, Scullions Road, Sandyknowes Roundabout and Antrim Road.
